SO MANY OF US HAVE BEEN TOLD: Don’t be showy, don’t be loud, don’t be the center of attention, and never ever expect to win the grand prize, the gold medal, first place. Well I think we should DO ALL OF THOSE THINGS! We ALL deserve the sash, the crown, the ribbon, the badges, the big trophy for the obstacles we’ve faced, how hard we’ve worked, and if nothing else to celebrate being proud of who we are. ~ Danielle Krysa, 2024
